Paid on results, supported from day one
Brokers earn commission at closing with competitive splits that reward the listings and buyers you bring. We cover the deal-room and CRM technology, listing marketing and the brokerage’s network listing access. Full details — splits, any costs, and how co-brokered deals are shared — are reviewed openly in your interview, before you commit to anything.

Questions
Frequently asked
+Do I need a real estate license to broker businesses in Florida?
Yes. Florida treats business brokerage as real estate brokerage under Chapter 475, so you need an active Florida real estate license — as a sales associate (or broker associate) working under a licensed broker. If you’re not licensed yet, you can still apply; we’ll point you to the 63-hour pre-licensing course and state exam.
+How are business brokers paid?
Business brokers earn commission when a sale closes, typically a percentage of the sale price shared between the brokerage and the broker. We offer competitive commission splits that reflect who sourced the listing or buyer; specifics are covered in your interview.
+Can I work part time?
We consider both full-time and part-time brokers. Business sales take months, so consistent availability for owners and buyers matters more than hours on a clock.
+I’ve never sold a business. Is that a problem?
No — many great business brokers come from ownership, finance or management. We teach valuation, the sale process and the paperwork; you bring judgment, discretion and people skills.
+Is this an employee or independent-contractor role?
Brokers affiliate as licensed independent contractors, as is standard in Florida real estate. You run your book of business with the brokerage’s tools, oversight and support.
+What does the brokerage need from me?
An active (or in-progress) Florida license in good standing, your background and references, proof of identity, and errors-and-omissions coverage under the brokerage policy once you join.
