About Xplor-Business

Matthew Liveringhouse founded Xplor-Business on a simple idea: business owners deserve a broker who has actually run a company. For 26 years Matthew was CEO of Midwest Paratransit Services in Maple Grove, Minnesota, growing it into the state's largest Transit Link service provider, with 98 buses, more than 100 drivers and $5.8 million in annual revenue, won and kept through competitive government contracts.

That experience shapes how he represents sellers and buyers. He has negotiated contracts, managed budgets, payroll and fleet assets, and handled the regulatory and compliance details that can make or break a deal. As a director of the Care Providers Workers Compensation Fund, he oversaw financial management, actuarial pricing and risk, and approved claim agreements.

Matthew also brings a numbers background. He holds a B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from St. Cloud State University and worked as an IT and assurance auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, testing internal controls and financial records. That training sits at the core of valuing a business, recasting its financials and getting a sale through buyer due diligence.

Before business, Matthew served as an officer in the U.S. Army and Minnesota National Guard, as platoon leader, executive officer and commander at the 175th Regiment Regional Training Institute / Officer Candidate School, and was an Honor Graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, finishing in the top five of 220. He lives in Apollo Beach and works with business owners across Tampa Bay and Florida.
